	House in the hills I bought a pile of these pieces without really thinking about the layout.
	House in the hills The walls came in two batches. For some reason, the first batch contained walls with the creeping vines while the second batch was all clean -- even though there's only one order code for these walls.

	Milk carton house This was my attempt to use an empty milk carton as a skeleton for a house. I cast a little plaster on the bottom and filled the rest with polyfoam (which causes the slight bulging.

	Jungle trees Note for purists: They're NOT sold as palm trees. I actually did not buy these, they sort of came as freebies with lots of stuff. It says you can build four trees from a set, but that's only because there's too few stumps. Base them yourself, and you can build roughly twice that number.
	Crashed shuttle Auto-correct my ass! The sheet ain't this red in real life. These are shuttle pieces from the Battle for Macragge boxed set, which is excellent value for money.

	Crashed shuttle This piece has a design flaw: it has no bottom inside. I solved this by glueing a bit of black cardboard under it.
	Crashed shuttle The interesting question is, could you glean enough information from these pieces to build a believable model of an intact shuttle? The front and tail are easy enough, but the mid-section would need to be extrapolated.

	Crashed shuttle The other wing section. Heretically, I chose to use red trim instead of the blue and black in the box art. In addition, the hull gray has a slight yellow tint, though that might be hard to see in the photos.

	Barricades Standard GW barricades. I wanted to give them a rusty look, but failed. I need to practice my rustiness more.
	Hills More reversible hills. I killed an entire sheet of expanded polystyrene when making these.
	Dungeon Dungeon pieces made with Hirst Arts molds. They are really great stuff. Though Bruce recommended basing them on half-inch insulation foam. I checked the catalog, there was 20mm foam. I figured I could live with the extra thickness. Went to the hardware store, they only had another brand which was 30mm minimum. Oh well...
	More hills And that's the last of the styrofoam batch. Painting all the hills took approximately 12 liters of paint.

	Castle I made a small mistake building the tower, but fortunately that could be covered up. However, it's pretty hard to get the modular pieces to line up 100%.

	Trees These are all made from various aquarium plants. They were actually more expensive than I thought (and no, I didn't buy the Official GW Plants(tm), I went to a pet shop).

	Buildings I made most of these from plaster bricks originally bought for my kids. The roofs are made from a bamboo curtain I cut up.

	Stone house The roof is cardboard strips on a balsa backing. Unfortunately the balse warped seriously when it got into contact with paint, breaking the glue bond with the tiles.

	Tek-Pyramid I made this from the leftover pieces of my Tehnolog Hexagon set. These pieces seemed a bit hard to connect with the rest of the set.

	Cathedral of Pain I'm not quite satisfied with the roof (it's not steep enough), but it's a separate piece so I can redo it easily if I really feel like it. The Cathedral is just missing paint now.

	The Steam Tunnels Here's the very first batch of terrain tiles I made. I happened to have a big pile of unused 12cm x 6cm tiles and decided to find a use for them.

	15mm bridge This is a small bridge from Warbases. It's laser-cut MDF.
	15mm barns The larger barn has three doors. One of the slots for the door pieces was slightly offset (and I didn't fix it), but I don't think most people will notice.

	Modular buildings I thought about keeping the doors and windows separate, but in the end I decided to glue them on. It was the right thing to do, with the stucco finish it would be pretty much impossible to blu-tac them on neatly.

	Mansard roof house This is the small mansard roof house kit from Warbases. Actually, the top of the roof posed a big dilemma, because I have no idea what it's supposed to look like and finding pictures from that angle wasn't easy. I figures tiles or shingles on the flat part make no sense, so I glued some strips of paper to simular tar paper.
	Mansard roof house The kit comes with windows, but I left them out so my figures can see out better. It's a bit too red, maybe I should have painted the tiles another color.
	Mansard roof house The kit does not come with an interior floor, but it wasn't too hard to make one. To facilitate lifting the floor while it has minis on it, I screwed on a piece of 'furniture'. It was a late addition, next time I'll make a nicer piece in advance.
