The Final Celts
Missile support. Archers and slingers from Renegade.

The Final Celts
Two archers.

The Final Celts
I just hate these plastic figures. This guy's sword broke while I was painting him. No problem, I'll just drill out the fist and stick a spear there... except the hand is too small to take 1mm drill bit. Screw scale accuracy, I want figures that can take a bit of handling.

The Final Celts
Celtic warriors.

The Final Celts
There's just so many of them...

The Final Celts
One more hornblower to the mix...

New Buildings
I bought these as a sample. They are pastic model buildings actually intended for model railroads, but could be workable for figures. And astonishingly for railroad stuff, they're quite cheap.

Tombstones
These are the Renedra tombstones. Let's see what we can make of them.

Fence them in!
Some Renedra fences that came with the Perry houses. I still have the other two fence styles to build...

American Farmhouse by Perry Miniatures
Ok, here are the finished houses.

American Farmhouse by Perry Miniatures
I decided to base the houses to make them sturdier. That's a Renegade 28mm celtic slingers for size comparison. I think I used a terracotta -colored base paint for this.

American Farmhouse by Perry Miniatures
Here's the other house. This one started as pale yellow, but the Vallejo sepia wash transformed it into more of a light brown.

American Farmhouse by Perry Miniatures
And the iconic white, ofcourse.

American Farmhouse by Perry Miniatures
The interiors are barely functional. Maybe I'll come back and finish them later. More likely not...

|
American Farmhouse by Perry Miniatures
All three ready to play.

American Farmhouse by Perry Miniatures
The slinger has a bit of a dilemma -- the door is glued shut for durability.

The Final Celts
