Samurai with two swords
I'm pretty happy with this one, except the sword blades. I still haven't figured out how to do really shiny blades.

Samurai with two swords
Macro shows its lack of depth focus again.

Samurai with two swords
Again, patterns drawn with a technical pen. The hat is drybrushed and with Miniature Paints to boot.

Samurai with two swords
It's slightly out of focus, but I think I'm getting better with the faces. Especially the gnarly ones like this.

Miss Piggy's Finest
With round killing things.

Miss Piggy's Finest
Originally, I intended to put more bronze on this.

Miss Piggy's Finest
I quite like the face even though the head position is somewhat unnatural.

Miss Piggy's Finest
The non-metallic parts are done in 3-color style.

Miss Piggy's Finest
Another Dark-star warrior.

Miss Piggy's Finest
I'm not entirely happy with the helmet. Maybe it should have been all bronze...

Miss Piggy's Finest
The bronze is inkwashed gold. Maybe drybrushing would have worked better...

Samurai lady
I'm not entirely happy with the eyes, but otherwise I think it went pretty well.

Samurai lady
I think the pants went especially well.

Samurai lady too
The color combination is wrong. Should have been black pants and yellow shirt, since fair hair is not really an option.

Black is surprisingly easy to do in 3-color, IMHO. Not quite satisfied with the hair, though. The patterns are done with a technical drawing pen.

Samurai with fan
Another cheater: The brown robe and the green armor are both inked. Naughty me!

But the red vest is okay, I think, as are the chrome-dome highlights.

Samurai with hat
I should have used some other color for the socks. The starter set colors are pretty limited actually. You basically have one red, one green, one blue, black and white and a bunch of kinda brownish tones. Wouldn't be a problem if you mix, but the whole point of the Foundry paints is not needing to mix.

The red jacket is looking a bit bland even with the patterns. I wish they made technical pens in white or yellow...
