My 19th century box -- this will be emptied this year.

I had an idea that didn't pan out so well but I finished these off anyway.

The obligatory overhead view.

Enforcers
I tried to give them Future War Cult paint scheme, but it's actually pretty hard.

Enforcers
These are Mantic Enforcers. Honestly, I'm not so keen on these figures. They are not as modular as I'd like.

Enforcers
I have more of these, gotta think of a new color scheme.

Enforcers
All lined up.

I actually like the angular design.

It's Sam on the pole!

LanceMate: Sir Trumpet
Surprisingly, I had fairly little problems with the decals. MicroSol is just great stuff!

LanceMate: Sir Trumpet
Forwards!

LanceMate: Sir Trumpet
The banner bearer is actually a hybrid. The body is old GW Bretonnian, the legs are Foundry and the horse is Front rank.

LanceMate: Sir Trumpet
I had a little problem with the saddle.

LanceMate: Sir Trumpet
Stripes would have been better but I just lacked confidence.

LanceMate: Sir Trumpet
Interestingly I like this even though usually I don't like blue and red color schemes.

LanceMate: Sir Trumpet
I need to get more decals.
2018-01-12
LanceMate: Sir Trumpet
The legs did not fit in the saddle, so I had to make last minute adjustments...

LanceMate: Sir Trumpet
But should I paint a whole unit of these?
2018-01-12
Mugshots
Off to varnishing.

Norman bust
This is a 1/16 bust from FeR I believe. I've never painted busts before and wanted to try it out.
2018-01-12
Norman bust
The obligatory overhead view.

Norman bust
I broke off the noseguard at last minute and had to glue it to the nose. It's really thin resin.
2018-01-12
Norman bust
Rather uninspired shield design.
2018-01-12
Norman bust
This actually came in four parts. I painted it in sub-assemblies, which did make things a bit easier.

Norman bust
One thing I discovered was that at this scale, you can't really cheat with the eyes anymore.
