Housing Factory
New MDF buildings from Minibits. They're actually made by a US company, but Minibits sells them in Europe.
Shipyard
Sarissa boats made for Warlord games. These are pretty reasonably priced.
Housing Factory
Some smaller items made by Sarissa for Warlord games. The fountain is nice, but the searchlight is IMHO over the limit what MDF can do.
Tribal recruitment
The next batch of tribal warriors on the bench.
Housing Factory
This was surprisingly easy. It's a black basecoat followed by a light spray of red anti-rust primer. No brushwork at all at this stage.
Housing Factory
In retrospect, it probably would have been easier to at least basecoat the parts before assembly. Not that this is hard either.
Tribal recruitment
White is so much easier to paint on a light gray base.
Tribal recruitment
Shields washed. I really wanted to give them some other style of shield, but I didn't have enough of them.
Tribal recruitment
The ladies in waiting.
Shipyard
Primed.
Shipyard
The landing boat has ample room for a squad, which is nice.
Barbarian development
I completely forgot I had these, so when I found them I just had to paint them.
Barbarian development
Waiting for the was to dry. These are Grendel items though I thing GF9 has a very similar one for sale these days.
Tribal recruitment
Pretty much done, waiting for the basing glue to dry.
Housing Factory
Roof tiles following a quick drybrush.
Tribal Warriors
Ok, here's the next batch.
Tribal Warriors
These are all Foundry Darkest Africa minis, which I happen to like very much.
Tribal Warriors
The obligatory overhead view.
Tribal Warriors
Pushing forward to victory.
Tribal Warriors
I like doing these shield patterns.
Tribal Warriors
Some ladies were left over from the last batch.
Tribal Warriors
Daylight makes such a difference. Even on an overcast day like this I'm getting exposure times in the hundreds instead of the usual tens I get indoors...
Tribal Warriors
These are all pretty basic jobs.
Tribal Warriors
A closer look at the ladies. They are actually all unique poses though the two on the sides are very similar.
Tribal Warriors
I still haven't quite gotten the hang of the shield pattern.
Tribal Warriors
Where is she? Where did the giant pine cone come from?
Tribal Warriors
It must be the Lost Valley of Westwood where giants live!
Tribal Warriors
Our brave warrior is unfazed.

Tribal Warriors
