Brave Defenders of Mogadishu gather. It would be cooler to say Brave Defenders of Somaliland, but Somaliland and Somalia are not the same thing. These are all from The Assault Group's Somalia range. In glorious 28mm ofcourse.

He came out a bit bland from the sepia wash, so I washed the skin again with pure black. I think that turned out pretty well... unlike the sepia shade on the white cloth. Bad bad idea, never to be repeated.

Yeah, I really intended to do leopard spots, but when I got around to it I didn't have any reference material handy so I went for this sort of cheetah spots instead. It's all artificial ofcourse, an honest chap like him wouldn't have anything to do with poachers and endangered species.

The jaw seems misshapen because it is. The casting was flawed and I didn't get it fixed well enough. This was done entirely in Foundry/Dallimore 3-color, the first such I've done in years. Turned out amazingly well, all things considered.
