When these guys are in Osprey plates, there's always a shield or another guy or errant plantlife or whatever obstructing the view of their privates. It was a really harrowing experience trying to find a reference how to paint period pubic hair.

I don't really know if the pose is really historical, but that's how shield goes given that arm position - the handle is horizontal.

For some reason, I had lots of trouble with my new batch of Veni Vidi Vici transfers. They wouldn't stay on, perhaps because I did not put on a coat of gloss varnish before I applied them.

I rushed this batch a bit, and it shows. Also, doing a batch of 28 is too tiring. Should stick to 8-12 at a go.
