Bloodbone Axemen
Looking all mean and gruff.

Bloodbone Axemen
More piggies in the wings... but do they fly?

Bloodbone Axemen
I chose to do these later because of the bare heads.

Bloodbone Axemen
Ofcourse, after making all of these I found out that the Bloodbone clan symbol is nothing like that... oh well.

Bloodbone Axemen
Ranks of steel marching.

Bloodbone Axemen
Initially I didn't like these, but having painted them they are actually pretty nice.

Bloodbone Axemen
They do look a bit like they were in barrels, though.

Bloodbone Axemen
I do wonder why the swordsmen didn't come with shields, though. Oh well, it's a fantasy game, it doesn't have to make sense.

Making Plastic Spears
Different spear options, from left to right: white metal, steel and plastic. The white metal is already bent.

Making Plastic Spears
Get an ordinary street sweeping brush. Make sure it has straight plastic bristles.

Making Plastic Spears
Snip off required amount of bristles. Use proper pliers, scissors don't quite have the leverage.

Making Plastic Spears
Hammer the end... gently.

Making Plastic Spears
This is how the blade looks after hammering. The more you hammer, the wider blade you will get.

Making Plastic Spears
Use scissors to cut a point into the blade.

Making Plastic Spears
Finished spear blade. Just stick it on with superglue and paint.

Making Plastic Spears
It bends...

Making Plastic Spears
...and pops right back!

Making Plastic Spears
This is what the finished product can look like.

Making Plastic Spears
There's still flex in it and even the paint won't flake.

Making Plastic Spears
Back to normal.

Making Plastic Spears
And unlike steel spears, you can't hurt yourself with these.

Making Plastic Spears
With a steel spear I'd be bleeding right now... bleeding from a Small Cut!

Engraving Tool
This is the engraving tool I got off eBay. It's battery-powered.

Engraving Tool
Works pretty well on plastic and even metal.
