Westwood Tank Factory
Here's the Americans with magnets attached.
Westwood Tank Factory
These are all Battlefront minis. I got them mostly because they are locally available, and because I don't have to pay postage, pretty much the same price as everything else.
Magnets rule
I've started putting these new fangled neodymium magnets in all my bases. That's a single 8x1mm magnet in the middle of a 25mm washer. Yeah, and a bog standard regular steel lampshade.
Cars
Not that you can really see a whole lot from this picture... But I've been preparing more toy cars for some modern games.
Vietnamese
These are Battlefront 15mm miniatures. At this stage they've been primed and then I just airbrushed the base color. I chose the early war tan to make them stand out from the Americans.
Trouble stirring down south...
Here's the rank and file somalis getting ready to defend the motherland.
Trouble stirring down south...
Okay, maybe guy with the microphone isn't actually a somali, but he came in a somali blister...
Vietnamese
Here's two Vietnamese infantry companies getting ready for battle.
Trouble stirring down south...
Somali warriors getting their colors.
The Cong are recruiting
Here's a batch straight from the wash.
The Cong are recruiting
Closeup of the newer batch of infantry. The webbing color isn't quite kosher, but I think it gives nicer constrast so screw historical accuracy...
The Cong are recruiting
These are Battlefront 15mm Vietnamese. I'm sad to say the casting quality left a lot to be desired. The weird tint is from the camera.
Brave Defenders Sneak Preview
The brave defenders are getting ready to be based.
The Cong are recruiting
Ok, finally saner colors. Here's an overhead view of the troops. It's not obligatory yet, as they aren't based.
Brave Defenders Sneak Preview
The brave defenders are all Assault Group's somalis. They're pretty nice, but the range is a bit small and completely missing RPK's and such.
The Cong are recruiting
The first batch of Vietnamese before the wash.
VC infantry
VC support weapons being assembled. I quite like 15mm vehicles, I can live with the infantry but assemblig these tiny crew served weapons is just infuriating...
VC infantry
Wily CIA agents had stolen the actual machineguns from my Battalion HQ pack. Fortunately the resourceful commies pressed some spare Brownings into use.
VC infantry
The only I could figure out to reliably assemble the mortars was to glue them on the bases straight away.
VC infantry
Primed mortars.
VC infantry
Battalion HQ and weapons platoons primed.
VC infantry
Close look at support elements.
More Americans
Some howitzers and mortars. After I had done these, I just heard in a podcast that mortars in 3rd edition are supposed to be based differently... or was it just 60mm mortars? Aww, shucks...
VC the final stretch
HMG bunkers. Pretty neat all resin pieces. Makes you wonder if more figures could be made this way, like all prone LMG teams?
VC the final stretch
Here they are, the last of my VC getting ready to be based.
VC the final stretch
Another view of the bunkers.
VC the final stretch
Empty ModelAir bottles in the background. I need to go in and get a refill soon.
VC the final stretch
Laying down the base green. Maybe brown would have been a better base color, but I started with this so I decided to stick with it.
More Americans
Yes I know I was supposed to be done with my US tank company, but then I saw these for sale for a good price and...
VC the final stretch
Some Vallejo white pumice to hide the individual base edges. That stuff is great, apart from the color. The clean white is a bit difficult to cover with paint. Maybe I should have gotten black pumice instead...
British reinforcements
I got some more brits from TAG to flesh out my platoon. The ratio of launcher guys is really high, I'd rather see them in a separate heavy weapons set.
Zombie Horde
Zombies getting some color on the skin.
Zombie Horde
Zombies slowly gathering some colors.
Carthaginians
They have arrived! These are all Renegade 28mm figures.
Baghdad Tea Party
The new brits on the workbench.
Baghdad Tea Party
Waiting for final touches.
Russian reserves
Here are my final Russians primed and ready to take paint. They are all from Black Tree and I quite like them.
Russian reserves
These are the AT riflemen that had lost their rifles. I got some new ones from TAG and managed to return all of them to line.
Russians under the brush
Here's the remaining Russians apart from the partisans, i.e. all the uniformed ones.
Russians under the brush
These are the AT riflemen I salvaged with TAG weapons.
Russians under the brush
Scouts and sailors. Wasn't quite sure what color to give the scouts, but let's see how this goes.
Russians under the brush
NKVD. These guys could double as police in some games. Hmm....
Russians under the brush
Sailors. They have the padded jackets, so that's khaki. The rest of the uniform is supposed to be black actually, but I painted it dark navy blue just to give it a little character.
Warmachine purchase
Yup, I broke down and got these from a sale.
Hummers
I got an idea what I want to build from these... they are too large for regular 28mm figures but...
Partisans getting ready
The last few Russians, a batch of brave partisans getting their first touches of color.
Partisans getting ready
Almost ready for washes.
Project P: Salvage Yard
Look at the sorry shape of this fine Rhino recently liberated from the vile clutches of chaos!
Project P: Reinforcements
More reinforcements for the Purple Hearts.
Project P: Salvage Yard
Fortunately this is nothing new to the hard working techmarines of the Purple Hearts.
Project P: Recruiting
These guys may not know it yet, but they've just been recruited into the Purple Hearts. They're going to get a bath next.
Project P: Recruiting
Some assault terminators and other old school recruits just itching to join the Purple Hearts.
Hordes purchase
I bought all these from a sale. Because I was cheap, I got the 1st edition template set only to find the spray template is actually two inches short...
SWAT
No, they are not done yet. Actually, I think I'll give them blue clothes just to not have all boring black.
Celts assemble
Some Warlord plastic 28mm celts being assembled. Quite frankly I'm not fond of this step at all. It completely destroys the time saving aspect of doing cheap bulk troops such as these. I'd really go for slightly less dynamic one pose wonders for bulk troops...
Celts assemble
The first batch of Warlord celts got their undercoat.
Celtic reinforcements
Celts in the assembly line.
Celtic reinforcements
These are Warlord Games plastic 28mm celts. They're just a tad too fragile for my tastes.
Celtic reinforcements
For some reason the celts come with inadequate number of shields. I had to dig into the bits box for spares.
Celtic reinforcements
Renegade celtic slingers.
Celtic reinforcements
Rengade's archers. I really only wanted these guys, but the regiment box is mixed.
Celtic reinforcements
Closer view of the Renegade archers.
Celtic reinforcements
Ok, the selection of poses isn't really all that great, but I like these figures.
Celtic reinforcements
Basic basing done and waiting for primer.
New Chronopia stuff
I finally found it! The dwarf dark-tusk totem! And I got some blisters to go with it. Ironically the blisters were much more expensive than the box.
Dark-Tusk Totem
This is going to a bit of a modeling project. The metal bits are rife with flash and don't match up with the resin body all too well. There's going to be lots of puttying to cover the gaps...
Blue Jean Celts
Slowly working to increase my celtic horde. This batch is just too large, it's eating my productivity and clogging my desk.
Pure Black Celts
More celts on the workbench...
Celtic reinforcements
More celts straight from the wash.
Celtic reinforcements
The leader guy stright from the wash. This one came in the celtic skirmisher box. I actually only wanted archers but instead I got a command group and a bunch of slingers. Should have just bought archer blisters.
Building a house
The basic bits for the house.
Building a house
This is a Perry 28mm ACW house. As you can see, the there is no interior detail at all. I was a bit disappointed by this.
Building a house
Nice chair came with the kit.
Building a house
Basic frame assembled.
Building a house
The Warlord plastic celt looks a bit beefy compared to the house.
Building a house
Good thing they are wearing helmets, because they are going to bonk their heads on the door frame.
Building a house
Assembled house. The porch posts are already a bit crooked.
Building a house
This model is built for gaming, it's pretty fast to assemble with minimal parts.
Bunnies
This box was labeled 25mm Field Army.
Bunnies
Bunny command from Ral Partha, even if they are only redone orcs.
Bunnies
These cuties are from Fortress Figures.
Celtic reinforcements
Getting the basic colors on.
Celtic reinforcements
Progress is slow and painful, but getting there.
Celtic reinforcements
More barechested celts.
Celtic reinforcements
Washing done.
Celtic reinforcements
I really should have given the commander a bit more attention, but I really didn't feel like painting these figures...
Celtic reinforcements
Quite frankly, the poses are a bit monotonous. There really isn't a huge variety of ways to assemble these Warlord plastic celts (different head options don't count).
Russian field gun
I got this because it happened to be on sale. I also misread the description thinking I was getting three guns in one box. No such luck. It's really too nice a model for gaming with etched brass parts etc. but I'll build it anyway -- minus the breakable fiddly parts.
Housing project
Here are the new houses I ordered. They just cheap enough to really build a city out of withou breaking the bank totally.
Housing project
Here's the Berlin house floorplate against my new city block bases. Looks like a perfect fit...
Perry ACW houses
The houses have their base color done. I think I'm going to wash these next.
Perry ACW houses
Here are some fences.
Paint tray
And the finished product loaded with Foundry paints.
Paint tray
Here's the new Feldherr paint tray ready to be stiffened up a bit.
Paint tray
Measure twice, cut once.
Paint tray
Adding the handle.
Paint tray
Maybe I should invest in a power saw... but where would I store that?
Paint tray
Ok, the parts look fine. Now put everything together.
Paint tray
Drill some holes.
Paint tray
Add glue and screws.
Paint tray
And finally stick the actual tray on there.
Paint tray
Ta-daa, we're done.
New Buildings
I bought these as a sample. They are pastic model buildings actually intended for model railroads, but could be workable for figures. And astonishingly for railroad stuff, they're quite cheap.
Tombstones
These are the Renedra tombstones. Let's see what we can make of them.
More British reinforcements
More troops on their way to FOB Inflexible.
Celtic nobles
The last few celts almost ready for action.
Pack horses
Essex pack horses. I think these will see service in Africa...
Terrain boards
These are the reverse side of the red desert boards. I decided to add an optional wadi or something.
New tools
This is the Citadel cleaning tools set. I really bought it for the scraper, I've got plenty of used toothbrushes...
Fences
The rest of the Renedra faces getting ready.
Tiles
I have a big pile of these, maybe it's time to find some use for them...
Terrain tiles
Some prototype tiles. I'll see how these turn out before making more.
The Boat
Here's the basic shape. Yes, I know it doesn't look very sleek.
The Boat
You can sand the styrene, but you won't get a smooth result. Maybe I need to use some filler.
Plasticard
I finally found a supplier for embossed plasticard. This 1/50 diamond plate looks just right with 28mm figures.
Greeks and shields
For some reason Black Tree keeps sending these smallish oval shields with their hoplites...
Pack horses
The trusty steeds primed.
New terrain
More tile sections in the works.
New terrain
I've had this carpet for years. I tried to use it as a table mat, but it's too snaggy for that. Now I decided to cut some terrain patches from it.
New terrain
Primed terrain tiles. At this stage I hadn't quite decided which format to use for the flooring.
Skirmishers
Wargames Factory Numidians. Despite the title, these figures can be used for pretty much all classsical period light troops around the med.
Skirmishers
Parts waiting for assembly.
Skirmishers
The sprues, one for bodies/arms, the other for weapons and heads.
Skirmishers
Using the GW scraping tool. It worked pretty well for the bodies, not so well for the smaller parts.
Skirmishers
By comparison, this my trusty old scraper: an old dull x-acto blade. Being dull, it doesn't accidentally cut into the mini (or my fingers) like a sharp blade would.
Skirmishers
I assembled the initial batch as poor javelineers with minimal equipment, because I happen to need some for my Greek army.
Stacks in the works
Following the success of the prototype, I'm making more of these.
Skirmishers
Skirmishers getting their fleshtones.
In the shipyard
Test assembly. Needs more paint and I will add details like portholes last.
The broken pillar
I had this semi-finished for a very long time, but now I finally finished the basing. I also have four similar pillars not broken, now I just need some freeway pieces.
Skirmishers
The flesh is washed and the tunics come next.
In the shipyard
After making the initial hull shape, I glued on cardboard to make the side railings.
In the shipyard
Trying to hold the cardboard in place -- this actually did not work and I ended up just holding the pieces until the glue stuck, which luckily wasn't too long.
In the shipyard
Letting the glue dry. I had to make the sides out of four pieces because I didn't have larger cardboard pieces handy.
In the shipyard
Assembling the superstructure, mostly from foamboard.
In the shipyard
Basic assembly done.
Black Gesso
Black gesso, the alternative for melting your brain with solvent fumes.
Black Gesso
A couple of figures primed with black gesso.
In the shipyard
First coat of paint. I decided to go for black hull and white superstructure with gray deck.
3D models
This the quetzalcoatlesque air elemental. For whatever reason, it wasn't available made from the white stuff so the next cheapest option was this black stuff. I'll use it to test how well these take paint without priming.
3D models
All the figures primed.
The Stack
After waiting several days for the white glue to to dry (it finally did), I filled these with more slow to dry stuff. This time it's water affects stuff tinted with some Vallejo pigments.
The Stack
Basic colors, nice pastels from Biltema interior paint selection.
3D models
The figures have arrived.
3D models
The initial view as they come out of the box (or bag, actually).
3D models
The giant rat.
3D models
The earth elemental. It could almost be painted as a robot of some sort too.
3D models
I don't recall what she was called so I'll settle for sorceress. She's about 40mm tall, significantly bigger than a regular 28mm gaming figure.
Terrain tiles
More tiles in the works. This is going to be the final batch for now.
Plasticard
My one beef with this material is right here: The sheets are not cut following the embossed design. So if you want a square sheet with aligned design, you'll need to trim the edges yourself.
Houses
Laser-cut MDF seems to be the latest rage in wargames terrain, so I ordered a few sample buildings from Warbases. These are from their modular buildings range. I'm going to try to see if I can keep them modular even after assembly.
Houses
A couple of clamps help while the glue dries. To be really pedantic, you'd need a couple of stiffer boards under the clamps. The MDF bends a little too much by itself.
Terrain tiles
The second layer of paint. I used some old bits of foam to give it texture. This is just ordinary latex paint, straight from the jar.
Terrain tiles
The latest batch of tiles finished.
Terrain tiles
This time I made a few ladder pieces for a bit of up and down action.
Terrain tiles
The latest batch has a lot of these pipes. My original plan was to paint them all metallic brass, but it didn't work out so well.
Terrain tiles
Maybe I should have painted the ladder first and then glued it on...
Terrain tiles
New tiles ready for paint.
Terrain tiles
All stored away nicely. If I make more, they won't fit in the box anymore...
Modular houses
Hmmm, another shot of the assembled frames.
Saxons
Here are my Black Tree saxons I got for Project S. Looks like I'm missing one shield, gotta dig into the bits box again...
Saxons
Plastic saxons from Gripping Beast. I will make the hearthguard out of these and use the unarmored Black Tree models for basic warriors.
Saxons
A closer look at the saxons. Seems I got a command group too.
Saxons
Closer view of the saxon sprue.
Saxons
Some Black Tree saxon archers for Project S.
Saxons
Glueing the shields on. Apart from rebasing, this is the stage I hate the most...
Pardulon accessories
Pardulon accessories primed.
Terrain tiles
New tiles in the works.
Modular houses
Here's the selection of modular houses I got. You can use these as is, or glue them together to form larger houses.
Terrain tiles
Base paint. After finishing these I found out I had actually done the first batch with grey walls instead of white. Oh well...
Pardulon accessories
After a basic wash.
Modular houses
Gotta do something about these joints, though...
VC Reinforcements
A new batch of minis from Peter Pig.
Saxons
Plastic saxons waiting for the primer. And some other guys as well.
Saxons
Getting the base colors on my saxons.
Terrain tiles
Some more plain tiles to create more open spaces if necessary.
Pipe stacks
More pipe stacks in the works.
Saxons
Ok, they're starting to look vaguely human.
Saxons
I decided to do these entirely in Foundry 3-color to flex my Kevin muscles for a change. I still need more paints, though...
Saxons
Primed saxons. These are all Black Tree 28mm models. They're a bit old fashioned, but I like them.
VC Reinforcements
The Americans will be surprised... as was I. I was expecting a resin model but this was all metal instead.
Saxons
Plastic saxons from Gripping Beast.
Saxons
More plastic saxons.
Civvies
Some innocent bystanders.
Saxons
Let's see how this batch thing works out. A made a bunch in a couple of different colors, hopefully the final mixed result will produce a suitably non-uniform dark age feel.
Saxons
The white, red and green guys.
The fuzz
The law is here, obey!
15mm barns
The small barn assembled.
15mm barns
And here's the large L-shaped barn.
House factory
Glueing the back windows on. The idea was to leave the same side empty on each house so I could more easily put them back to back.
House factory
Comparing the mansard roof house with the modular buildings. The mansard house is a bigger and more detailed model.
House factory
The mansard roof house is as tall as the modular tower piece.
House factory
Assembling the house.
House factory
More clamps to the fray.
House factory
Applying the surface texture.
Pipe stacks
Testing the new water-based primer. Results are not quite satisfactory...
House factory
The texture is a mix of tiling grout and white glue, simply brushed on.
House factory
Here's the mansard roof house assembled. Not quite sure why it came with two smoke stacks... In the end I decided to use just one stack.
House factory
Roof tiles for the small barn.
House factory
Gluing the tiles on.
House factory
A veritable tiling factory.
15mm barns
Houston, we have a problem! The roof fit is pretty tight so with the tiles in place it doesn't fit anymore.
15mm barns
After some knifework, the roof fits again. Unfortunately, some tiles were crushed in the process.
House factory
The curse of white glue: warping evident!
15mm barns
The small barn takes two infantry bases, the large one five.
Civilians primed
The new primer doesn't really hold to metal figures either...
House factory
I painted them white. Probably should have used a light grey or beige instead and applied a really heavy drybrush. Now I need to wash these.
House factory
More base-coated buildings.
House factory
Adding the mid-level floor to the mansard house. This didn't come in the kit, but it's easy enough to do.
House factory
Supports for the floor.
Saxons primed
And the plastic saxons don't fare a whole lot better either.
Saxons
Unarmored saxons waiting for the final touches.
15mm bridge
Here are the bits for the single arch 15mm bridge from Warbases.
New bases
I had these sabot bases custom made, Warbases helped out and they turned out pretty nice. My initial idea was to use them as command bases for Hail Caesar, but they look so nice I might use them for other things too.
15mm bridge
Here's the bridge assembled. It was a bit fiddly to put together because the parts interlock in multiple ways.
House factory
My initial idea was to leave the doors and windows off and attach them with blu-tac as necessary, but in the end I decided to glue them on.
15mm barns
Dry-fitting the small barn.
VC reinforcements on the way
Some sorely needed AA capability. And a wrecked staff car.
City Streets
Believe it or not, this is going to be a city.
Saxons gettting there
The huscarls start to get some color. Oh, and some boys in blue in the background.
Choo choo
I picked these trains from a sale at the toy store for pretty much free.
Choo choo
They're not great models, but they pretty ok with 15mm figures.
Choo choo
The scale is reasonably close.
VC reinforcements on the way
More infantry and some tanks base coated. I don't use my airbrush as much as I probably should because I'm not confident with cleaning it.
City Streets
Second try for city street base. Cutting the plasticard seems to reduce the warping quite a bit.
More loot
I couldn't resist it. Prince August was having a sale and I just had to get these...
City Streets
More washing. These proved to be harder than I initially thought, probably because the detail on the embossed plasticard is pretty this after all -- it's easy to clog it even with drybrushing.
Saxons getting ready
The final saxons getting ready.
Saxons getting ready
Pretty much ready except for the shields.
Space Comrades
You know the figures: You bought them because they were dirt cheap, they weren't really that good and they've been sitting on your shelf forever. Well, I finally decided to make something of these.
Space Comrades
More Space Comrades to the fray! These buggers are surprisingly irritating to clean. Only a handful more left to clean, then it's onto airbrushing.
Mantic Surprise Box
Here's the Mantic surprise box. I counted 60 foot figures, 2 warmachines and 1 vehicle in there. Undead, dwarves, elves, goblins, space dwarves and space orcs in roughly equal parts. But curiously no bases.
Space Comrades
The comrades are primed.
Space Comrades
Getting some color on.
Space Comrades
I painted the guns separately, which seems to be a good idea.
Space Comrades
After the initial wash.
Space Comrades
Arrayed for parade.
Space Comrades
I was too lazy to put in a larger drill bit.
Space Comrades
I think this after drybrushing.
Space Comrades
Getting there...
Space Comrades
The last few comrades getting finished.
Hit Markers
I made these for our upcoming Hail Caesar! game.
Loot
Got some stuff from Mantic sale. Frankly, I have clear idead what to do with these, but they were dirt cheap.
More troopers
Reinforcements on the way. To be quite frank, these figures are really irritating to assemble and... well, I've seen better casting quality.
Factory
This is the large factory/garage/warehouse from Warbases currently under construction. I'm still undecided what to do with the doors.
Loot
My Black Tree order came in. There's my redcoat reinforcements, my new saracen army and a little bit of this and that.
Size comparison
The new acquisitions size up pretty nicely.
Bugs, Mr. Rico, millions of them!
Well, 28 anyway. In the works.
Space Komsomol
I was in a bit of a hurry so I used spray primer.
Space Komsomol
Getting ready for the fight.
Space Komsomol
Assembling the forces.
Flight crew preparing
Pretty much done, waiting for basing.
Space Komsomol
Almost there, just some work on the faces and basing.
Cars
I'm washing my cars and they're just getting dirtier... am I doing this right?
Flight crew preparing
Flight crew getting there. These are actually Starship Troopers MI figures, I just left off the guns and the armor panels. The color is the age old trick of slapping ink on top of white primer.
The Authorities
More carwash stuff.
Bug Factory
I'm really glad these arachnids don't actually have eight legs...
Space Komsomol
Troopers get their base color.
Space Komsomol
Almost there.
Doors
More doors from Warbases.
Loot
The Portuguese are here. Now, what am I going to do with these?
Loot
Space Comrades get reinforcements.
Loot
Parts for the Chickenhawk.
Bug Factory
Bug parts.
Bug Factory
Bugs in assembly.
Bug Factory
This is actually just the lower bodies, but from distance they look pretty cool too.

Wreck Factory
These came with my Battlefield Evolution vehicles. The actual vehicles aren't much to write home about, but maybe we can use these for something.
Wreck Factory
Casting in progress.
Wreck Factory
First samples.
Loot
Napoleonic Portuguese from Foundry. They were cleaning closet and I got these for cheap.

All the line infantry are in firing pose, and have the older style hat.
Orcs
March resolutions in the works.
Coming Attractions
Now, what on earth could this be? Stay tuned to find out.

The shape of things to come.
Wreck Factory
Sandblasting the tank.
Wreck Factory
The APC and jeeps get the sand treatment.
Airlift
Someone's about to get an airlift... Due to the wonders of global economy, it was actually substantially cheaper for me to get this from Japan (postage included) than buying it locally...
The Pits of Mordor
Orc horde getting some color.
The Pits of Mordor
It's looking better and better.
Wreck Factory
Initial base colors applied.
The Pits of Mordor
Almost ready for a wash. Even though they look like relatively simple models, there's surprising amount of small detail work.
The Pits of Mordor
Slowly getting there.
The Pits of Mordor
Waiting for the washes to dry before the final touchup.
Wreck Factory
Ok, so I made a couple more...
Warehouse building
This has been sitting on my overcrowded table for a while now. I finally managed to put some color on it.
Warehouse building
Maybe I should liven up the interior a bit...
Portuguese Cacadores
Here are some Foundry Portuguese getting ready for paint.
KS Loot: Halflings
I got one squad of each. Maybe I'll play Panzerfauste with them.
More bugs
The tanker bug model seems generally unavailable, but these toys are still floating around. It's a bit too small, but still usable.
Bug Factory
Okay, off to wash and detailing.
KS Loot: Halflings
Here are my halflings and goblins, straight off Black Hat Kickstarter.
KS Loot: Halflings
Yeah, I'll make a better review later on.
Walker Factory
It's starting to get there....
Portuguese Cacadores
And now they have black hats too! The batch of 25 is really slightly too much, the repetition does get a bit tedious.
Walker Factory
Hulls assembled. These are M9 Chickenhawk suits from Starship Troopers. For some reason there's a good supply of these while all the M8 suits are gone the way of the dodo.
Portuguese Cacadores
Undercoated cacadores. These are very old Foundry figures sculpted by the Perry twins.
Portuguese Cacadores
Basic brown applied. I think I used Vallejo Air tank brown, because I happened to have that handy.
Bug Factory
The last batch of bugs getting their basic colors.
Walker Factory
Base color applied.
Starship Troopers
Some materials for Project S2.
Graveyard Shift
Now I have to buy more cavalry bases...
Portuguese Cacadores
Recruits getting some color on their faces.
New Buildings
These are actually HO scale railway building kits. And unlike most model railway stuff, these were pretty cheap.
Moonbase construction
New parts have arrived. Thanks again, Phil!
Drop Pod Factory
Here's the basic parts for a drop pod.
Drop Pod Factory
First part of thrusters glued on.
Drop Pod Factory
Letting the glue dry. This should keep the thrusters level.
Drop Pod Factory
Assembling the thrusters.
Drop Pod Factory
Adding the ball thingy.
Moonbase construction
I primed them with spray just because it's faster.
Drop Pod Factory
I painted the ball with glue to mask the styrofoam texture.
New Buildings
Mostly painted.
Measure The Man
28mm figures? Well, maybe to the eye if you ignore the base.
Test Bench
Title shot for test bench articles. Looks like the scale has timed out.
Test Bench
Another shot, scale still timed out and some glare in the display.
Test Bench
Ha! I knew I should take three shots! The final one looks ok.
More Troopers
These guys are a bit on the short side...
Figure archive
A view of my figure archive. Well, a small portion that actually fit in the frame.
Figure archive
More stockpiled lead.
More Troopers
Reinforcements are being assembled as we speak, sir!
Destruction Workshop
Hmmm... are we going to make something of these?
Destruction Archive
Slighty different angle.
Desk
A clean desk is very important.
Desk
This seems even more crowded.
Archers Getting Ready
Primer applied.
More Troopers
I grabbed bare heads from the bits box.
More Troopers
Pretty armless for the time being.
More Troopers
One them is really a zombie, can you spot which one?
More Troopers
Ready for primer.
More Troopers
These will be pilots, mechanics or similar.
Old Stuff
I found all sorts of interesting stuff when I started my spring cleaning.
New Bases
To magnetize or not to magnetize, that is the question...
Graveyard Shift
And now we restore the original gray plastic color with gray paint...
Weathering Effects
New stuff, let's test these...
Archers Getting Ready
Starting to get some color.
Graveyard Shift
Initially I thought I'd paint the sides of the base, but then I decided to try texturing them.
Graveyard Shift
Getting there, almost. Even though these are pretty simple, there's so many it takes a while to get through them all. Next time I'll probably do one sprue at a time.
Invasion!
Sourcing the opposition. I can't get the magazine here, but these pop up on eBay every once in a while.
Invasion!
The Daleks are the most useful of these. Let's see how they take paint...
The Lost Bases
High time for cleaning -- I had literally lost these in the cracks when I was making the bases. They came up when I cleaned the table.
Graveyard Shift
Nearing completion.
Spring Cleaning
Wow, there really was a gaming table under all that junk!
Spring Cleaning
Now I have to figure out where to put all this junk.
Spring Cleaning
All done and ready for gaming!
Spring Cleaning
Now I just have to tackle this mess...
Printed models
These are two samples of 3D -printed models I bought.

Adding sand.

Waiting for final detailing touches.
More Troopers
New recruits waiting for the final touches.
More Troopers
Just the basing to do.
Dwarves
Undercoat applied. These are the very old plastic figures from Grenadier's Fantasy Warriors game. They are still available.
Housing Project
This time I basecoated them in light gray so I can just do a heavy drybrush of white and call it done.
Housing Project
The new houses get some plaster for texture.
Dwarves
Getting some silver on them.
More Mystery Project Stuff
Look, it's salt and pepper shakers!

Bug Factory
The first three hoppers built.
Bug Factory
All primed and raring to go.
Containers
New stuff from PlastCraft. Let's see how this works out.
Containers
Here's a picture of the parts sheet. It seems to be die-cut but you still need a sharp knife to cut them out neatly.
Containers
The first cube I built as a test piece. It was surprisingly easy to assemble.
Plasma bugs
I got the last two plasma bugs from Troll and Toad.
Plasma bugs
This model is big!
Victoriana
Foundry is dumping some of their Victoriana figures. I got some mounted bobbies and guys on funny bikes.
Beastmen
I also had to get a small set of Foundry beastmen. They're pretty ok models, but I guess they just don't fit in with the serious historicals.
Bits and Pieces
Stuff I cleaned over the weekend - over 100 figures.
Orcs Galore!
Ahhh, I love the smell of Old Skool in the morning!
Assembly Factory
These are pretty much done.
Assembly Factory
This is one of the two basic trooper poses. The rationalize production, I did these first.
Assembly Factory
Trooper bodies.
Assembly Factory
What should I do with all these leftover sprues?
Assembly Factory
Ready to start working. Since lugging all my painting gear is a bit much, I like to do cleaning and assembly at the summer cabin.
Orcy Goodness!
More orcs on the assembly line!
Orcy Goodness!
The big ones were donated by an anonymous benefactor at the club. Thanks!

I still have more of these bases...
Orcy Goodness!
Nicely separated for processing.

This stuff I actually bought. Well, it wasn't too expensive.
Bridging it
Raw materials.
Orcy Goodness!
Archers are getting some color on their cheeks and elsewhere.
Orcy Goodness!
The classic lines of these orcs bring back memories of simpler days.
Container Assembly
Cutting out the parts.
Container Assembly
The containers are delivered as pre-cut sheets. You still have to cut out the parts and assemble them.
Container Assembly
The ribbed panel is actually a piece of carboard (included in the kit). Pretty clever, IMHO.
Container Assembly
Here are the first small containers assembled.
Container Assembly
The basic assembly for both container types is the same, the large ones just have longer side panels.
Orcy Goodness!
Orcy horde getting ready.
Container Assembly
The bigger containers assembled.
Container Assembly

Hmmm... another shot of the hulls.

It's all assembled now.

After priming.
Dropship
It was pretty fast to put together after all.
Shipyard
Superstructure added.

And now I have to prime all the figures I cleaned and assembled over the summer.

Archers Get Reinforcements
Just the basing and they're done.
Shipyard
Just some paint and the final detail parts missing.
Archers Get Reinforcements
Laying down the basic colors. I decided to do this batch in matching uniforms to speed things up a bit.
Daleks
Daleks primed. Saara did these. These are Black Tree metal models. Curiously there were a few extra bits included.
Cybermen
Primed cybermen. I did these Black Tree 28mm models.
Tribal -class destroyer
This is a MY Models 1:1200 ship. It came as primed but I had to clean the casting. It will be interesting to compare this to the plastic Tribals I got from Airfix.
Africans getting color
The Presidential Guard being worked on.
Daleks in the soup
Ahh... it's so nice and refreshing.
Drying time
Shake it off, baby!
Something Blue
More Perry guys and something else in the background.
Something Blue
Perry ACW troopers assembled. I got these as a freebie from somewhere (most likely WI subscription).
Production Line
I guess I'll need to find permanent storage for these now.
Easter Factory
Just final basing touches to do.

Invasion Imminent!
My Cybermen waiting for basing.
Characters
There's the Doctor and his Companion, some neatly dressed bad guys and a 3D printing experiment, which is slightly overscale.
Invasion Imminent!
Saara's Daleks.
Roco Minitanks
I got these when I heard the were a good match for 15mm figures. They're 1/87 scale Roco minitanks.
Roco Minitanks
Scale compared to 15mm T-55 is pretty ok. These are relatively obscure German postwar AFVs I plan to convert to sci-fi tanks. Unfortunately the models are really not all that good or even cheap...
Invasion Imminent!
The Cybermen are really fast to do.
Portuguese are Coming!
After the wash, looks very dark.
Flight stands
The same stand in minimum height configuration. The base still needs to be painted.
Union Troopers
Basic blue done, moving to detail work.
Scharnhorst
Nearing completion. This time I painted the turrets off the ship. I should have done that for even more of the detail parts.
Union Troopers
Even though it's pretty hard to see, the black details are mostly done.
Union Troopers
Maybe the pants could have been even lighter.
Dalek Hero
Captain Skaro waiting for basing.
Flight stands
This is the first prototype for my new flight stands.
Flight stands
It's sturdy enough to take a medium bomber at least. I think I'll convert my old space fighters and ships to this format.
Union Muster
The command section.
Union Muster
These are all Perry plastics.
Union Muster
Personally, I'm not too fond of the standing poses.

Apartment blocks
I started the build with the roofs.

My Slammers vehicle came in the mail!
Slammers loot
These are really nice. They must be the most perfect resin castings I've ever seen.
Terrain works
Some goodies from Ainsty. I really only wanted the TARDIS, sorry, CCC, but I ordered the other stuff wile I was at it.
Infantry recruitment
Foot soldiers getting base colors.

All black and primed to tabletop quality.
Statue works
These are actually a pair of old Star Wars toys.

The new batch... except where did I put the prototype? Argh! Time to clean up again...
Nearly there
Bunch of stuff almost finished.
Flying bases
More flying bases being manufactured.
Housing Project
The ground floor shaping up. I really should have primed these on the sprue...
Housing Project
The inside of the exterior walls is a bit funny, but would be quite a lot of work to fix. Let's see what I'll do with that...
Housing Project
Parts for another ground floor.
Housing Factory
They are assembled and getting the first layers of paint.
This and that
A semi-random collection of figures. I decided to do these in Foundry/Dallimore 3-color for a change.
Guns, guns, guns
Now, what are we going to do with these?
Alien Workshop
A bunch of aliens in the works.
Housing Project
Ok, the basic colors are done. There is still quite a lot of work with the details.
Housing Project
The floors are finally getting there...
Housing Project
Base colors on the roof pieces.
Housing Project
Assembly test.
Housing Project
I really should have painted these on the sprues.
Housing Project
Ground floor in the making.
Housing Project
The five floors in all their glory.
Housing Project
Waiting for the washes to dry.
Housing Project
Initial wash on the roofs. The subsequent drybrush will serve to blend it in, but then again real buildings a likely to have water damage as well...
Weird stuff
I got these from Kickstarter because they seemed pretty funny. Let's see how they paint up.
Steampunk Soldiers
I got my KS stuff! Only a couple of months after the project closed! Exemplary work from Meridian Miniatures!
Steampunk Soldiers
There's two basic body types, this is the short jacket version.
Steampunk Soldiers
And then there's this greatcoat version.
Steampunk Soldiers
They produced something like 50 different head types. I wish I could have gotten more of them, they're so cool.
Steampunk Soldiers
More heads. If you look closely, there are some diver helmets too.
Portuguese
Ok, all the musket stocks are now done.
Portuguese
47 portuguese, ready for the next stage. Maybe I will get them ready in time after all.
Portuguese are Coming!
They're starting to look more and more like an actual unit.
Portuguese are Coming!
Brown and yellow bits done, mostly.
Portuguese are Coming!
There's 47 of them...
Moonbase Construction
Radar dishes primed.
Moonbase Construction
I bought these for a song. I disassembled them for painting.
Moonbase Construction
The space homes provide parts for two buildings.
Moonbase Construction
The plastic takes primer quite nicely.
Portuguese are Coming!
Wash applied. The black bits are the next step.
Moonbase Construction
I removed the clear plastic parts for painting. I thought about masking them, but in the end complete removal was easier even for the glued in parts.
Portuguese are Coming!
Almost there. Just the gun, cordage plumes and other small details left.
Portuguese in the works
They are coming along slowly but surely.
Portuguese in the works
With 47 miniatures on the line, almost anything takes 2-3 hours to do.
More moderns
Miscelleneous reinforcements: africans, SWAT, terrorists.
Portuguese in the works
The basic uniform is simple enough, but there's just so many straps, plumes, cordage and whatnot...
Portuguese in the works
Slightly closer look at the Portuguese.
Moonbase stuff
Ok, I didn't even finish the previous batch before buying more of them.
Moonbase stuff
I think I will make some drop pods from this batch.
Waste not, want not
If people think you're sane, you can tell them you're into teabagging and show this picture.
Gaming Aids
Movement aids for Heist.
Tabula Rasa
What happened? Where's all the stuff?
Even More Orcs
So, it's swordsmen (swordorcs?) this time.
To Wall Street With A Gun
This will be the next batch of heisters and friends.
Orcs on the way!
More orcy goodness on the way!
City construction
The plasticard has been glued on.

Moonbase construction
Radar domes.
Moonbase construction
Initial base colors done.
Moonbase construction
I used a piece of foam to apply the paint.

City construction
Some inkwashes to hide previous mistakes.

Getting ready to varnish.
Orc Recruitment
Boots and skin done.

These are Chronopia figures.
Resolutions 2014
Which box will it be?
Deadzone
My Kickstarter stuff arrived. At this point I had promptly forgotten what the heck I had ordered.
Deadzone
Looks like it's full of stuff. And a giant mouse mat too!
Piles of stuff
I decided to try a new method of construction. Let's see how this works out.
More tiles
I needed to build some pillars but I was all out of bricks... Unfortunately the dropping temperature and high humidity mean these take longer than usual to dry.
Furniture factory
Some cabinets and tables in the works.
Piles
Base color applied.

The barbarians getting skintones.
Diorama construction
The skintones are done.
Diorama construction
Adding basic colors.
Columns
I built some columns. Plaster construction is getting a bit tricky because it's so cold and humid, the bricks don't want to dry out...
Diorama construction
Ready for varnish.
Diorama construction
I painted the entire set even though I will only use two for the diorama. That way I have spares to choose from.

Diorama construction
Cutting the foam to fit the base.

The cave is shaping up.
Diorama construction
Checking positions for the figures.
Diorama construction
Basic sculpting done.
Diorama construction
The rock needed a little adjustment.
Diorama construction
Fine sculpting and crack filling. Now I have to wait for all that filler to dry...
Hammer's Slammers
GZG 15mm Slammers primed. These are very nice figures, but I just hate cleaning 15mm figures. I nearly broke the ankles off one already.
Building materials
I picked up some more building materials. These will probably last the year unless my daughter hijacks them for her dollhouse.
Flintloque stuff
Ok, here's the box contents finally revealed.
Flintloque stuff
This is the dreaded box that has been sitting in the back row for ages...

Flintloque stuff
Horses for the pansies.
Flintloque stuff
Elven cavalry, looks like some sort of cuirassiers.

Flintloque stuff
Werewolves and undead personalities.

Priming the jeeps.

Diorama construction
Base colors applied. Most of the brown will be covered but I wanted to paint it anyway.
Diorama construction
Applying the 'snow'.
Diorama construction
And now we let the snow dry...
Diorama construction
Except that I messed up the mix. It's just refusing to dry. Probably too much paint in the mix.
Flintloque
Base wash applied.
Flintloque
The horses have been washed too. I was really uninspired doing these...
Diorama construction
Ok, I call it done now.
Flintloque factory
Winged hussar horses assembled. The wings are really delicate because the metal is so soft. I guess these figures are from the days before the lead ban.
Flintloque factory
Lancer horses being cleaned. Interestingly the blister contained completely different sculpts.
Flintloque factory
Cleaning the riders. They are a bit irritating to handle being so skinny there's no room to drill and insert a butt spike for holding.
Flintloque factory
Cossacks awaiting final touches.
Slammers factory
The jeeps are pretty much done.
Slammers factory
Final basing touches for the tribarrels.
Diorama construction
Test fitting the figures.
Diorama construction
I probably should have cleaned the spills.
Diorama construction
Testing the salt solution.
Flintloque factory
Undead horses primed.
Flintloque factory
Lancers and hussars primed.
Flintloque factory
Start with the bone color.
Flintloque factory
Yes, I already broke off a wing bit. Maybe I should have coated them with superglue or something. There will be difficult to transport intact.
Flintloque factory
According to the painting instruction in the box, the lancers have black uniforms.
Tank Factory
Tank hulls primed. I still haven't checked if the blowers fit in the storage trays or not.
Boneyard
Undead lancers nearing completion.
Boneyard
The horses minus riders and final basing touches.
Tank Factory
Turrets assembled and drying.
Tank Factory
I probably should have just used the accelerator.
Tank Factory
Tank hulls.
Tank Factory
Turrets magnetized and primed.
Tank Factory
Primed blower and hog.
Tank Factory
The combat cars came with etched top covers. Verrry nice, though I really have no experience working with etched parts.
Tank Factory
Tank hulls being painted.
Tank Factory
Crew for the combat cars. They are nice models but a bit tricky to paint. I had to superglue their feet to these sticks to get a handle on things.
Tank Factory
Nearing completion.
Tank Factory
Tank turrets.
Mercenaries
The Syem's mercenaries getting their basic colors. If you thought painting faces was hard, try painting a face inside a ski mask...
Gangster Factory
Mercenaries on the way to the nearest coup.
Deadloque Rising
Assorted undead infantry.
Deadloque Rising
Ok, there were some werewolves too.
Deadloque Rising
All scraped clean and based.
The Alphabet Team
I need to wash these first... they are so dusty.
Truck Factory
The Russians are mobilizing.
Deadloque Rising
With a fresh coat of gesso.
Truck Factory
The underside of the truck bed will be impossible to reach after it's assembled, so I'll paint it now.
Truck Factory
Drying time...
Truck Factory
Ok, I guess I need to dig up the airbrush now...
Slightly gloomy Africa
A test batch of Gripping Beast Somalis waiting for undercoat.
Orcs on the way!
Some Grenadier ones plus a bunch from the old HeroQuest game.
Orcs on the way!
These are my remaining Grenadier plastic orcs.
Truck Factory
The more I wash my trucks, the dirtier they become. Am I doing something wrong here?
Truck Factory
The two GAZ trucks (licensed copies of Ford AA trucks). These models are pretty nasty builds, especially the front lights and bumper.
Grognards Strike Back
Purple Hearts motor poos is finally getting some reinforcements.
Deadloque Rising
These hunters will rip you apart.
Deadloque Rising
Undead line in campaign dress.
Deadloque Rising
The first minis ready for varnish.
Deadloque Rising
Characters getting some color.
Grognards Strike Back
This had been sitting on my desk far too long primarily because I didn't fancy breaking out the airbrush.
Orcs on the way!
Spearorcs, or maybe poleorcs?
Mercenaries
Mercenaries and more presidential guard.
Orcs on the way!
Ok, now we gots dem shields too...
Black Legion
Loads of stuff undercoated.
Deadloque Rising
Jägers waiting for color.
Truck Factory
For some reason I dislike getting the airbrush out, but this went pretty quickly after all.
Truck Factory
I don't recall ordering a Citroen but whatever...
Purple Hearts Reinforcements
I really should have pulled the kit completely apart...
The Alphabet Team
Some base colors applied.
The Alphabet Team
[Null]
Flower pots
These look really nice and they didn't cost squat.
The Alphabet Team
These are getting more and more color.
The Alphabet Team
I'll finish these shortly.
PLA Invasion
My PLA figures from Empress just arrived. They are looking pretty neat.
Project H2: Prosperity Rebels
More stuff from Old Crow. Here's Prosperity Rebels and a small contingent of Broglie's Legion.
Chronopia Loot
I broke down and bought more Chronopia. I really like imagery even though the background with cities constantly raised [sic] to ground is a bit naff...
The Alphabet Team
These are waiting for basing.
Orc Recruitment
Still glistening from the wash.
Orc Recruitment
Ranks of spearorcs assembled for a dash of color.
Orc Recruitment
There's basically three colors mixed around.
Orc Recruitment
These orcs are getting ready for a wash.
Orc Recruitment
The wash dried. The Vallejo washes have an extremely matt finish, which is pretty nice.
Orc Recruitment
Just some final details after the wash.
Orc Recruitment
These guys came with HeroQuest. The original one.
Walkways
Basic assembly.
Walkways
I added some paper strips to hide the jigsaw joints.
Terrain stuff
Crates, barrel stacks, barriers, containers, boxes, vending machines, bales etc. etc. Most are from Ainsty but there are a few Old Crow items in there as well.
Cannon factory
This was an irritating kit to build. I ended up leaving out most of the photo-etched detail parts. The gun shield mounting isn't very sturdy, let's see how that holds out...
Flintloque factory
Ferach horses primed.
Flintloque factory
And the riders are hinging out...
Project H2: Tank Factory
I suddenly realized Slammers arty detachements are actually three hogs, so I had to get another one. And what is that other stuff? A deadly grudge match in the making?
Production line
Loads of stuff in the works.
Death From Above
This will be the test piece for my new stencils.
Long Live The New Flesh!
I got the flesh tone set from Foundry. This should be interesting to toy with.
Mr. K and Mr. L
They are assembled! Well, the first version anyway.
Mr. K and Mr. L
Orange is the new black.
Ferach recruitment
Still hanging around...
DUST Stuff
The local game store had these on sale, so I decided to check them out...
DUST Stuff
This wasn't quite as good as I hoped, but I think I can make something of it.
DUST Stuff
There's actually only one walker in the box. The cover art is misleading to put it mildly. It looks nice but it is not cheap even on discount.
Accessories
Some Ainsty resin accessories in the works.
In The Works
Stuff I'm working on... no idea why I took this picture.
Urban Citizens
These guys should be painted up next week. Do you believe it?
Urban Citizens
More civilians on the way.
Urban Development
Hmm... what might this be?
Urban Development
I see genius in the works!
Urban Development
The 45x15mm wood is perfect for sturdy walls.
Urban Development
And they even stack up nicely for storage!
Urban Development
Clamps are needed for the glueing stage.
Urban Citizens
Hey, they even got their arms now!
Urban Development
And even more devious developments...
Gangster Factory
Mr.K and Mr. L have got new clothes and... who's that guy?
Buiding Innovations
Building materials in the works.
Buiding Innovations
Base color applied. The stacking solutions makes even drying paint easier.
Buiding Innovations
Applying texture layers.
Buiding Innovations
DUST huts. The dimensions are a bit wonky because they are designed to fit on the DUST grid, but otherwise they are pretty nice models.
Buiding Innovations
New marble columns. Yes, you guessed right what they're made of...
Buiding Innovations
I had a spare bit I painted as a slab.
Deadloque Elves
Elves from the Lady Wintermore set getting ready to be painted.
Africans
I ordered these Gripping Beast Somalis as a test batch. They are much more slender than the TAG ones.
Moto-Saw
This is the Dremel Moto-Saw, a miniature scroll saw and it's a fabulous piece of kit!
Tank Factory
Prosperity rebels armoured unit assembled!
Bridge Factory
Glueing the extra pieces on. MDF is really easy to glue to.
Truck Factory
The undercarriage is pretty accurate, but it's also way too delicate for gaming use. I broke one of the axles already on assemble and had to replace the rear wheels with spares. I added hot glue to stiffen thigs up, but it warped the delicate plastic... should have gone with epoxy instead.
Africans recruiting
Gripping Beast Africans nearly finished.
Bridge Factory
There was some minor damage on the kit from shipping.
Terrain works
Walkways assembled. This is before adding the strips to hide the jigsaw joints.
Terrain works
Bunker assembled. It doesn't have a door or a roof, the latter I'm planning to add.
Bridge Factory
This is the basic kit assembled.
Truck Factory
Some primed trucks. The American 2.5 ton truck is usable for quite long even after WWII. I'll probably need to get some more.
Civilians geting ready
I converted some Wargames Factory survivors into civilians. I'm not really a big fan of these minis, but there's really not much choice in this field.
Bridge Factory
It's made from 2mm MDF and quite frankly some pieces are a bit fragile...
Civilians geting ready
Getting more color on them.
Riot Cops Sighted!
The latest reinforcements for DCPD forces. I think I need to buy a few more packs to produce a convincing police line.
Tank Factory
After waiting a couple of months for my 3mm magnets to arrive, I found they were too small and fiddly after all... and then I drilled these for my trusty standbys, the 8mm magnets instead.
Tank Factory
A pile of assembled tank hulls.
Tank Factory
Glueing the magnets on.
Tank Factory
Hahaa! It's a magic trick!
Tank Factory
Here are the rebel forces. I still need to scratch a couple of mortar assemblies for the trucks.
Tank Factory
Getting primed.
Tank Factory
Primed tank hulls.
Bridge Factory
Filling in the joins. This is IMHO one of the biggest drawbacks of MDF construction. The jigsaw joints are really robust, but if you're doing something other than brickwork or maybe planks, you need to hide them somehow.
Terrain works
Some tank traps from Puppets War. They are pretty nice pieces.
Bridge Factory
Measuring the extra pieces.
Bridge Factory
And cutting... no, I'm not an idiot. This is a staged shot, the saw is not on.
Bridge Factory
A couple of clamps to hold stuff on.
Bridge Factory
Working on the final few pieces.
Bridge Factory
Not forgetting the underside.
Bridge Factory
This side is done.
Bridge Factory
Adding the top supports. These are actually pretty important, because there is high likelyhood someone will grab these to lift the whole thing up... I'll add corner irons later if this isn't sturdy enough.
Bridge Factory
And doing the same on the other side. I cut two sets of parts in one go so this is just glueing them on.
Bridge Factory
I decided to add some interior support too. Not really needed from strength, but it helps make the interior not so flat.
Bridge Factory
View from the user perspective.
Bridge Factory
Basic assembly done.
Bridge Factory
That's a 15mm truck to show scale. This would be a major highway bridge in 15mm.
Bridge Factory
A couple of 28mm figures to show scale. It's a big bridge even in 28mm... You can probably drive a tank over this.
Icing Up!
I scrounged these from the trash.
Bridge Factory
Priming done.
Icing Up!
Now, what could we be having here?
Bridge Factory
Basic gray color.
Icing Up!
Surface layer drying.
Icing Up
Base paint applied. I painted both sides to add durability and reduce warping.
Ferach Recruitment
It's an odd selection and I don't really know where they are coming from...
Bunker works
The bunker with spackle and primed. Next time I'll try another idea with the joints.
Survivors
I got these from a very small Spanish company. I'll probably remove the weapons and build them as civilians.
Ferach Recruitment
The final batch, cleaned and stuck on bases.
Bridge works
Base color applied, now let's liven it up with some weathering...
Ferach Recruitment
Finally primed.
Riot Police
Ok, there's a medic in there too. I need to get more of these, loads more.
Ferach Recruitment
Getting on the base colors.
Ferach Recruitment
Ok, it's just the lady... I've no idea how I'm going to do the dress...
Ferach Recruitment
The final batch of ferach getting some color.
Ferach Recruitment
Frankly, I have my doubts whether these are Flintloque minis at all...
Ferach Recruitment
I have what appears to be three identical command packs and some others.
Ferach Recruitment
Here they are again.
Ferach Recruitment
I finished these singles first.
Ferach Recruitment
Waiting for basing. These ones were a little bit simpler than their cousins, that's why they got finished first.
Ferach Recruitment
Almost there...
Field mounts
I decided to paint these using the same camo scheme so it would be easier to switch turrets between these and the tanks.
Greetings from Africa
Here's a bunch of tribal warriors. Let's select the first batch from these.
Greetings from Africa
Warriors on bases with shield, still waiting for spears.
Greetings from Africa
Spear attached. Still some work on the bases and then it's off to priming.
Crossbowmen
I dug up these Black Tree crossbowmen to complement the halberdiers I already have.
Drone Factory
The drone after airbrushing. As you can see, removing the stencils lifted some paint. Probably should have gone for a spray undercoat.
Tank Factory
Before and after: Prepping the turrets for camo job using my airbrush.
Tank Factory
Tank bodies painted.
Tank Factory
Basic colors applied. Now it's just detailing and weathering.
Truck Factory
Hmmm... weird tint. They're really green.
Crossbowmen
All primed and ready to paint.
Greetings from Africa
No, I'm not calling them done yet...
Drone Factory
Sepia wash worked for a change.
Tank Factory
Turrets lined up. I plan to get extra alternate turrets so I can change the configurations.
Tank Factory
More tank bodies.
Truck Factory
Ok, the trucks are mostly done.
Tank Factory
Painting the tracks and the wheels.
Drone Factory
The underbelly. I decided against applying camo patterns here.
Tank Factory
These turrets are just about done.
Tank Factory
Possibly slightly clearer picture of the done turrets.
Monster Loot
Here's two bosses for my fantasy skirmish project. These look to be rather intricate resin models...
Mecha Loot
Now, what could we have here...
Mecha Loot
This is a Gelgoog from Ultimate Operation line. Unfortunately they are a head smaller than Assault Kingdom ones... sigh...
Greetings from Africa
Female warriors getting base colors.
Greetings from Africa
Male warriors getting base colors. I wasn't really planning for it, but these two sets appear to have similar hairstyles.
Greetings from Africa
Waiting for final basing touches.
Greetings from Africa
They are actually done, I'm just waiting for the glue to dry for photos.
Tribal recruitment
After the first whiff of spray.
Crossbowmen recruitment
Crossbowmen getting base colors.
Tribal recruitment.
More tribal warriors.
Crossbowmen recruitment
Ok, it's time for skin tone.
Barbarian huts
I forgot I had these.
Crossbowmen recruitment
They're just waiting for the glue to dry.
Tribal recruitment
All black now.
Barbarian huts
Ok, colors next.
Tribal recruitment
Ready to base colors.
Housing Factory
New MDF buildings from Minibits. They're actually made by a US company, but Minibits sells them in Europe.
Shipyard
Sarissa boats made for Warlord games. These are pretty reasonably priced.
Housing Factory
Some smaller items made by Sarissa for Warlord games. The fountain is nice, but the searchlight is IMHO over the limit what MDF can do.
Tribal recruitment
The next batch of tribal warriors on the bench.
Housing Factory
This was surprisingly easy. It's a black basecoat followed by a light spray of red anti-rust primer. No brushwork at all at this stage.
Housing Factory
In retrospect, it probably would have been easier to at least basecoat the parts before assembly. Not that this is hard either.
Tribal recruitment
White is so much easier to paint on a light gray base.
Tribal recruitment
Shields washed. I really wanted to give them some other style of shield, but I didn't have enough of them.
Tribal recruitment
The ladies in waiting.
Shipyard
Primed.
Shipyard
The landing boat has ample room for a squad, which is nice.
Barbarian development
I completely forgot I had these, so when I found them I just had to paint them.
Barbarian development
Waiting for the was to dry. These are Grendel items though I thing GF9 has a very similar one for sale these days.
Tribal recruitment
Pretty much done, waiting for the basing glue to dry.
Housing Factory
Roof tiles following a quick drybrush.
Ship salvage
Salvaging the second hand 1/1200 ships I bought. A nice soak in pine soap does wonders to their complexion.
General Muster
Another block of archers getting ready. After these are done I still have about 100 of them spare.
General Muster
Assorted men-at-arms waiting for paint.
General Muster
Tribal warriors ready to put some color on.
General Muster
Pikemen. These are from Fantasy Warlord line. I think the figures were made by Alternative Armies.
General Muster
Ooh, I love the smell of primer in the morning... no I don't! That's why I did this outdoors.
General Muster
Priming these took a little over a full can.
Medieval Muster
Men-at-arms primed and based.
Medieval Muster
Working on the pike block.
Medieval Muster
Ready for varnish.
Medieval Muster
These are basically done.
Medieval Muster
More work on the pike block.
Medieval Muster
There's five different poses in the set. I think it may have been five blisters of five.
Medieval Muster
It's actually relatively near to completion. They just look so dark because they don't have faces yet.
Loot
ABC Warriors... now what could I do with these?
Tribal Recruitment
Another batch of fierce warriors in the works.
Loot
More paints.
Tribal Recruitment
Lots of scary masks this time.
Tribal Recruitment
Nearing completion.
Project H2: Tank Factory
Tank destroyers baking under the sun. I tried digicamo with them, not entirely successfully.
Shipyard
More flotation devices coming along.
Thirsty?
This is a pretty cute MDF model-
Search again...
This, on the other hand, is an example of going a wee bit too far with MDF. The searchlight body is composed to many MDF rings you are supposed to glue together. Managing that without needing a major filler job is not easy...
Calling all mercs
I think these are Gripping Beast mercenaries.
Archers assemble
Ok, I decided to use the same color scheme as with the pikemen.
Archers assemble
They are getting more defined.
Archers assemble
Funny how they always look so dark until you get the skintone done.
Archers assemble
Waiting for glue to dry.
Orcs Rise Again!
Hmmm... where did these guys pop up from?
I can see clearly now
Here's my first foray into BONES minis. These translucent ones came with the Kickstarter.
I can see clearly now
There was quite a variance in base sizes.
Orc recruitment
Here's another batch about ready for a dip.
To The Jungle!
More brave explorers prepare to meet the jungle...
Tank Factory
I bought an old FoW starter for the tanks because it was silly cheap.
Tank Factory
They're tanks on track! That's what I'll claim anyway...
Tank Factory
They were on sale, what can I say!
Tank factory
More tanky goodness on the way. I tried some freehand camo with the airbrush, but I can't do it. Not in this scale at least.
What On Earth Toms?
Wait! What is this?
Tribal Recruitment
September Boys getting some color on.
Tribal Recruitment
After these I only have my Masai and some explorers left.
Tribal Recruitment
I think these are called warriors with feather headdress or something. I resisted the urge to paint the like pineapples.
Tribal Recruitment
Assorted personalities.
Tribal Recruitment
Brave explorers. I think these are all from the British officers set.
Tribal Recruitment
The Europeans get some color. Another test batch for my new Foundry colors.
Tribal Recruitment
Waiting for the glue to dry.
Tribal Recruitment
The final few.
Tribal Recruitment
I say Carruthers, some grass would be jolly good right about now.
Tribal Recruitment
The next batch. But why didn't I get number 2 also? One wonders...
Tank Factory
There's some T-60 turrets and a coal car drying after a wash.
Size comparison
The Takara scopedog looks like a perfect match for the One Coin figures. Unfortunately this one has... other issues.
Orc Recruitment
The last of this lot being prepped. These were painted by the previous owner, so they've gone through a pine soap bath first.
Orc Recruitment
Looking all primered. These come from a WFB starter box. Don't know which edition, I bought these used.
Tribal recruitment
Brave masai warriors assembled.
Orc Recruitment
The final orc batch (for now) getting ready.
Orc Recruitment
A selection of orky earth tones is used. And some red, ofcourse.
Orc Recruitment
Nearing completion.
Orc Recruitment
Just waiting for the glue to dry... almost as exciting as watching paint dry.
Tribal Recruitment
My Masai warriors shaping up.
Tribal Recruitment
White base color on the shields.
Explorer Recruitment
Why, what a splendid collection of chaps! And it's almost teatime too!
Tribal Recruitment
Just missing final details and ofcourse the shields.
Explorer Recruitment
Fleshtones applied. Still not sure if I'll do real eyes on these...
Explorer Recruitment
Now, who could she be...
Giant Box of Loot
Here's my new tanks and infantry and buildings -- over 700 models in total.
Explorer Recruitment
The two redcoats are Wargames Illustrated freebies from back when Duncan was still running it, the lady is from Foundry. Missing basing basically.
Explorer Recruitment
Another trio of brothers?
Explorer Recruitment
Waiting for the others to finish before I cart these off to basing.
Explorer Recruitment
A couple of famous figures added.
Explorer Recruitment
Just waiting for the glue to dry.
Door a galore
These are from the Alabaster terrain box. I finally decided to do something with that.
Uncle Sam Wants You!
I decided to paint my remaining 15mm Americans.
VOTOMS Factory
CATM-08 Octaves ready for battle. Too bad I've been unable to find any further information about them.
Slammers loot
My new Slammers opponents from Old Crow.
Slammers loot
These are some old second hand models I bought.
Slammers loot
Featuring an earlier production version of the blower tanks.
Slammers loot
Older and newer hulls.
Slammers loot
Different turret styles.
VOTOMS Factory
Takara Fatty in the middle with two One Coin figures. The Fatty is nominally 1/48.
Terminator Factory
15mm terminator robots from various manufacturers.
Terminator Factory
I decided to go with the classic silver look.
Storage Boxes
Here's some raw materials.
Storage Boxes
The basic box built.
Storage Boxes
Screwing the sides onto the bottom. Use self-drilling screws and save yourself the trouble of drilling pilot holes.
Storage Boxes
Reinforce the corners.
Storage Boxes
Height test. 45mm sides are just right for a typical 28mm figure.
Storage Boxes
Here's a view with a lid on.
Storage Boxes
The 85mm sides are perfect for most cavaly. Upright lances will be a problem, though.
Terminator Factory
They are a pretty mixed bunch.
Terminator Factory
Stuck on bases. This is actually the part of painting 15mm figures that I hate the most.
Call of the West
Here's Geronimo... These guys will be Mr. November.
American Recruitment
Artillery bases, trusty 105's doing their job.
Call of the West
Basic black down, getting ready to paint.
American Recruitment
That's a machine gun platoon and some arty command bases.
March Across the Galaxies
Here's a platoon or so of old Ral Partha 15mm scifi troopers.
American Recruitment
Waiting for the basing to dry.
March Across the Galaxies
I decided to test out a pale khaki uniform.
Feudal Muster
These are mostly old Grenadier men-at-arms with a few others in there.
Call of the West
Apaches are getting some skin color. I'm trying out the new Foundry skin tones set.
Lead Rot
Chronopia Myrmadon with lead rot evident.
Lead Rot
Chronopia totem. Lead rot evident on metal parts.
Lead Rot
Bad lead rot on the sword.
Lead Rot
Rot evident on the spear and figure body.
Lead Rot
Closer look at the rot on the arm of the totem.
Lead Rot
Rot is evident on both sides of the weapon arms.
Lead Rot
Here are the parts after tumbling.
Lead Rot
Tumbling has removed the obvious rot deposits, but left a dull grey sheen on the parts.
Far Future Wants You!
Here's another batch of sci-fi troopers getting some color.
Far Future Wants You!
These are ready for basing.
Far Future Wants You!
They're stuck in the mud!!!
Far Future Wants You!
This stage takes surprisingly long for these multibased figures.
MYTH Loot
My MYTH Kickstarter stuff finally arrived.
MYTH Loot
Here are few examples of the boss models. They're pretty nice, and NOT soft and bendy at all.
Call of the West
Apache skin color done. I tried to the Foundry skin color set.
VOTOMS Factory
Here are some Tortoise/Turtle -types. I can't recalle the exact model.
Lead Rot
The tumbling didn't work as well on the small parts.
Lead Rot
There is still quite considerable rot on these parts.
Lead Rot
This is looking much better, though.
Lead Rot
The dwarf's body is also looking pretty good.
VOTOMS Factory
That's quite a bunch of them already...
VOTOMS Factory
For some reason the Warrior-1 is the only one that comes with alternate weapons. I decided to convert these for the Rectioneter instead.
Call of the West
Starting on the clothing.
VOTOMS Factory
Rectioneter with its new gun.
Call of the West
I tried to keep mostly to natural colors.
Call of the West
If they were all like this they would have been considerably faster to paint...
Call of the West
Looking pretty finished already.
Call of the West
Just the basing to go...
Feudal Muster
Ready for priming. These are mostly rather old Grenadier models.
Feudal Muster
I decided to multibase the big handguns anyway. I may regret this when it comes to painting...
VOTOMS Factory
Rectioneters and Bersergas on the line.
Far Future Wants You!
More troopers join the ranks.
Far Future Wants You!
There's even some brutish aliens!
Feudal Muster
The men-at-arms gather.
Feudal Muster
Ok, so that was a dumb idea... I quickly demounted the assistant gunners for painting.
Feudal Muster
Woof, woof! These are old Ral Parth figures. The handler is in the second batch.
Feudal Muster
I haven't done plate armor in ages...
Feudal Muster
If you look closely, you'll see there's no hope of fitting these guys on 20mm bases. The stances are just way too wide. That's one of the primary reasons I gave up on 20mm bases and standardized everything on 25mm ones.
Feudal Muster
Light gray makes a good base for shield colors.
Feudal Muster
Nearing completion.
Feudal Muster
Waiting for final basing touches.
Far Future Wants You!
Brutish aliens show the skin color!
Call of the West
Here's the batch for December, Apaches and Mexicans.
Far Future Wants You!
Stuck in the mud.
Call of the West
All cleaned up.
Far Future Wants You!
Waiting for the photo shoot.
Call of the West
Ready for priming.
Lead Rot
Ok, let's try the brass brush next.
Lead Rot
We need something stiffer for this... bring in the steel brush!
Lead Rot
Still no good, this rot is pretty bad.
Lead Rot
Ok, time for the trusty scalpel.
Lead Rot
Rot mostly eliminated, but detail is lost. It's also hard to get into all the smallest crevices.
Lead Rot
Can't get better than this. If this doesn't help, then it's onto cutting off the affected parts (weapons) and replacing them with something new.
Feudal Muster
Going off to varnishing.
Lead Rot
Mr. Piggy basic assembly.
Lead Rot
The gaps are rather pronounced in places.
Lead Rot
Some filler applied.
Feudal Muster
Some color is appearing on the figures.
Lead Rot
Mr. Piggy primed and ready -- now we'll wait for 6 months to see if there's any problems.
Far Future Wants You
All mean and green...
Gundam Loot
So the contents really are (somewhat) random. Now I have 5 of each and logically should be able to assemble 5 Balls too.
Parts Loot
New conversion parts for... something.
Spectre loot
New figures from the Spectre Kickstarter.
Painting Diary
This is my new painting diary. I found it on the ground. Maybe someone had dropped it?
Imperial Muster
There's the first of them.
Imperial Muster
The rest of the sprues organized.
Imperial Muster
Assembled and ready for priming... and only 29 more to assemble, sigh...
Shorty Recruitment
Piggy swordsmen getting color on their jerkin, but ofcourse it's not visible from this angle...
Shorty Recruitment
Axemen getting their boots on.
Imperial Muster
Ok, these are ready to take paint, but I think I'll build the rest first.
Shorty Recruitment
Axemen line up.
Shorty Recruitment
I didn't do these in the last batch because the leather was an extra step to paint.
Shorty Recruitment
Shields and faces getting color.
Shorty Recruitment
They are broad fellows.
Shorty Recruitment
Drying time.
Shorty Recruitment
Ok, they are basically done.
Shorty Recruitment
Just waiting for the glue to dry...
Ol'Chickenlegs
Woo-haa! It's a Byg-Zam!
Making Plastic Spears
Finished spear blade. Just stick it on with superglue and paint.
Imperial Muster
More troopers assembled.
Making Plastic Spears
Different spear options, from left to right: white metal, steel and plastic. The white metal is already bent.
Making Plastic Spears
Get an ordinary street sweeping brush. Make sure it has straight plastic bristles.
Making Plastic Spears
Snip off required amount of bristles. Use proper pliers, scissors don't quite have the leverage.
Making Plastic Spears
Hammer the end... gently.
Making Plastic Spears
This is how the blade looks after hammering. The more you hammer, the wider blade you will get.
Making Plastic Spears
Use scissors to cut a point into the blade.
Making Plastic Spears
It bends...
Making Plastic Spears
...and pops right back!
Making Plastic Spears
This is what the finished product can look like.
Making Plastic Spears
There's still flex in it and even the paint won't flake.
Making Plastic Spears
Back to normal.
Making Plastic Spears
And unlike steel spears, you can't hurt yourself with these.
Making Plastic Spears
With a steel spear I'd be bleeding right now... bleeding from a Small Cut!
Engraving Tool
This is the engraving tool I got off eBay. It's battery-powered.
Engraving Tool
Works pretty well on plastic and even metal.
Shack Factory
I got these resin buildings in a big bunch of 2nd hand 15mm items. I have no idea who made them, though they are vaguely familiar.
Shack Factory
More buildings from the same set.
Shack Factory
Applying texture to the bases.
Shack Factory
Priming.
Shack Factory
Initial coloring done with sprays.
Micro Mechs
Really tiny mechs. I ordered these as a sampler. They look nice, but I'll have to think of some pin arrangement to make use of them.
Shorty Recruitment
The next batch of dwarfs on the table.
Shorty Recruitment
Mmm... more round killing things!
Shorty Recruitment
Cleaned and stuck on bases.
Tanky Loot
My new Soviets... I couldn't resist a sale...
Scifi Loot
This is what I got from the Dreadball Extreme Kickstarter.
Shorty Recruitment
The next batch of short stuff is cooking.
Shorty Recruitment
Now with round killing things!
Shorty Recruitment
The armor design is yet again a bit odd.
Shorty Recruitment
The piggies are pretty nice.
Shorty Recruitment
Moving on to spot colors.
Shorty Recruitment
Initially I didn't like this pose as much but it grew on me.
Shorty Recruitment
Ready for basing.
Shorty Recruitment
Off to the sandpit.
Shorty Recruitment
Some vulture mallets and a bunch of character models.
Shorty Recruitment
Ready for basing.
Pansy Recruitment
It's some very old Chronopia blisters. They even have pre-euro price tags partly.
Pansy Recruitment
Ok, some arrows might be flying in the future.
Pansy Recruitment
Applying leather tones. The figures are a bit odd -- they all have a glove on the right hand only, but half of them are actually left-handed...
Pansy Recruitment
The elf archers are cleaned.
Pansy Recruitment
After the basic drybrushing.
Pansy Recruitment
Adding fleshtones.
Pansy Recruitment
Adding cloth -- it's all a bit samey, isn't it?
Pansy Recruitment
Ok, the soft parts are pretty much done.
Pansy Recruitment
Starting on the bows. I thought about doing bone bows but I went with a branch theme instead.
Pansy Recruitment
Almost done.
Pansy Recruitment
Ready for varnishing... except I forgot one thing!
Pansy Recruitment
Adding base color -- really should have done this before varnish but it's not the thing I really forgot.
Pansy Recruitment
The Obsidian Guard was so different color scheme I decided to do it after all the Helios dudes.
Pansy Recruitment
Archers waiting for basing to dry.
Shorty Recruitment
Horny swordsmen stuck on bases.
Shorty Recruitment
Horny stickers poking it.
Shorty Recruitment
The spear fitments were atrocious in places.
Shorty Recruitment
These dudes are ready for prime time!
Shorty Recruitment
Next, a whiff of black.
Shorty Recruitment
Everyone in primered glory. You might notice the small patches covering holes in the slottabases.
Shorty Recruitment
Spearmen primed.
Shorty Recruitment
Starting with the silver drybrush and the purple cloaks.
Shorty Recruitment
I'm not a fan of these spears. Elven spearmen were much better.
Medieval Loot
I got my HYW figures from Black Tree. They are lovely as usual, but what was I thinking when I orderd 150 of them?
Medieval Loot
More HYW figures. Sigh, I guess I'll make a project out of these or something.
Building Storage Boxes
Having a separate drill speeds things. Despite everything, you still can't beat a good pilot hole.
Building Storage Boxes
And one screw to hold the sides together.
New Storage
Applying magnets to a bunch of old models.
New Storage
Another batch of storage boxes I made.
Shorty Recruitment
Shorties getting some skin color.
Shorty Recruitment
These are starting to look ok.

Swordsmen in detaling.
Shorty Recruitment
Ready for varnishing.
Shorty Recruitment
Off to varnish we go!
Magnetizing
In the midst of my great reorganization plan, I'm sticking magnets on everything and even doing a little rebasing.
HYW Loot
Ok, I got a few more HYW models from Black Tree. These are really excellent.
Pansy Recruitment
Dream warriors and a couple of characters for House Crystal Lotus.
Pansy Recruitment
Elven militia all black and shiny.
Pansy Recruitment
Elven militia getting blue.
Pansy Recruitment
Priming the dream warriors. They're supposed to be kinda ghostlike, and I'm totally lost how to paint them...
Pansy Recruitment
I went for a blue-on-blue theme for these.
Pansy Recruitment
Lighter blue added.
Pansy Recruitment
Nearing completion.
Pansy Recruitment
Just waiting for the glue to dry.
Pansy Recruitment
Ok, let's see if this works.
Pansy Recruitment
The Lotus Eater is actually pretty much done, the rest are still in the works.
Archers Assemble
Ok, I took out another batch of these to try to paint something besides Chronopia this year.
Pansy Recruitment
I was pretty unsure about this process so I painted one first and then the others.
Pansy Recruitment
Going into varnishing.
Archers Assemble
All primed and ready to take paint.
Pansy Recruitment
Waiting for glue to dry.
Archers Assemble
Plugging holes... I dislike slottabases but I don't fancy superglueing these to washers either.
Pansy Recruitment
I found some more! It seems I even had the presence of mind to buy the Dream Warrior leader before they disappeared.
Pansy Recruitment
Being cleaned.
Archers Assemble
Pants on fire! Well, painted anyway.
Pansy Recruitment
Glueing onto bases.
Archers Assemble
Blocking in base colors. I decided to make this another generic brownish batch.
Pansy Recruitment
They are all so black... let's fix that.
Pansy Recruitment
A whiff of white to brighten things up.
Pansy Recruitment
And some lighting for the shot...
Pansy Recruitment
Initial wash.
Archers Assemble
After a sepia wash.
Archers Assemble
Waiting to finish with the flesh tones.
Pansy Recruitment

Archers Assemble
Just the basing and minor detailing left to do.
Archers Assemble
Off to varnishing.

Pansy Recruitment
Plugging some holes in the bases.
Pansy Recruitment

Pansy Recruitment
Skin color showing up.

Pansy Recruitment
Putting their boots on.
Pansy Recruitment

Black Tree billmen ready for processing.
Pansy Recruitment
House Helios is about to get some reinforcements.
Feudal Muster
All cleaned up.
Pansy Recruitment
Three character figures. The Golden Mask guys are really confusing, are the two different figures really the same unit or not?
Feudal Muster
Primed and ready to paint.
Pansy Recruitment
Ready to be cleaned up.
Pansy Recruitment
Stuck on bases. I don't like slottabases, but with big heavy models like these I really hate slottabases.
Feudal Muster
Putting the boots on. On bulk figures I like to work bottom to top.
Feudal Muster
After wash. Now it's basically flesh and some details.
Pansy Recruitment
After drybrushing.
Feudal Muster
Ready for varnishing.
Pansy Recruitment
Now they won't have to die without their boots on.

Waiting for varnish.

Archers Assemble
78 archers spray painted.
Great Cleanup
This the before picture.
Great Cleanup
And this is after copious amounts of elbow grease. I didn't bother scraping the last bits because they don't compromise future work and this desk is not going anywhere else.
Great Cleanup
Putting all the stuff back.
Pansy Recruitment
Spearmen primed.
Pansy Recruitment
This is so much better looking than the small rider figures.
Pansy Recruitment
Spearmen getting ready to take paint.

They are starting to look more formed.

Blackblood Brewing Up
Ok, they are stuck on bases now.
